This policy covers apartmentmoverschicago.com, an independent lead-generation publisher. Our editorial policy covers how we source what we publish, and the disclosure covers how we are paid.
What we collect
- Quote requests: origin ZIP, destination, move date, home size, floor, elevator or walk-up, building requirements, packing choice, your name, phone, email, preferred contact method, any notes, the page you sent it from and the time.
- Calls: this site has no phone line yet. If it adds a tracked number, it will log the calling number, time and duration.
- Usage: anonymous analytics (pages viewed, approximate location from IP, device type). We do not sell this.
Who it is shared with
Quote requests are shared with the licensed mover or movers matched to your ZIP, date and move type, and with the form provider that carries them. They are not sold to data brokers or shared with other advertisers.
Call recording in Illinois
Illinois makes it a crime to secretly record a private conversation, including a phone call you are part of, without the consent of all other parties (720 ILCS 5/14-2(a)(2)). That is stricter than one-party states such as Texas. Any call this site ever routes will announce recording at the start and will not be recorded if you do not agree. Movers who call you directly are bound by the same law.
